Terms and Conditions

POSTAGE AND SHIPPING TERMS

These are my postage and packaging rates for first class post:

1 item = £1.25 (90p postage plus 35p packaging) 
2 or 3 items = £1.25 (90p postage plus 35p packaging) Occasionally, 3 items may weigh in excess of 100g but under these circumstances I will pay the difference and you will only be charged £1.25
4, 5 or 6 items = £2.50 (2 x 90p = £1.80 postage plus 70p packaging) 
Purchases for 7 or more items may be sent as three separate packages or as one large package, whichever is the cheapest option. A single large package will be sent Recorded Delivery due to the value of the contents.

The postage and packing rates quoted are to the UK only. 
I will post your items within 2 working days (Monday to Friday) of receipt of cleared payment. All items will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Post. 
Purchases of more than 4 items may be sent as TWO separate packages. If I need to send your order as two or more packages then I will contact you to advise you of this.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

If you change your mind about your purchase, please contact me first before returning the items. 

Although these are edible items, they are not classed as perishable because of their long shelf life and I am obliged to accept returns under the Distance Selling Regulations. You will receive a refund including outgoing p&p providing that ALL of the following conditions are met: 

1. The cake decoration packs must not have been opened or tampered with. 
2. The items are returned within 14 days (two weeks) of receipt. 
3. The cake decorations are sufficiently protected to prevent breakage. Ideally, return them using the original packaging. Reasonable care must be made to protect the decorations in transit otherwise a refund will not be made if the decorations are not fit for re sale because of poor packaging. 
4. The returns postage is the responsibility of the customer unless agreed otherwise. I will refund the outgoing postage

BREAKAGES - Online sales only.

Cake decorations are fragile and I will do my best to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition. The decoration packs will be wrapped in protective bubble wrap and then packed in mailing box(es). Generally, the decorations will make it through the UK postal system unscathed but be prepared for the occasional breakage. Please inspect your decorations carefully for breakages BEFORE removing them from or opening the cellophane bags. 

What to do if any of the decorations arrive damaged in transit: :

1. Please contact me before leaving feedback. You have within 14 days of receipt to tell me how many of the decorations arrived broken. 

2. Take photos of the decorations showing the damage - Please do NOT remove the decorations from the cellophane bag. It is imperative that the pack remains unopened. 

3. I may request that you email me your photos showing the broken decorations. 

4. Please do NOT return the broken decorations to me unless I have specifically asked you to do so. I only refund return postage by prior arrangement. 

On receipt of your email and photos showing the damaged items, I will contact you to arrange a partial refund. If 75% or more of the decorations have arrived damaged then I will offer you a choice between a refund or a replacement. It may take up to two weeks to send a replacement if the items are not in stock.
